Joe is a filmmaker and graphic illustrator with over a decade of experience in visual storytelling and creative writing. He enjoys snacks, is highly distracted by dogs, and sometimes wears a poncho.

Luella studied Animation and Game Design at Curtin University. Since then has worked across 2D and 3D animation, social media marketing and campaign planning.

Our Awards

In 2023, AMPS Academy won three LearnX Awards: Best e-Learning Team, Best eLearning Project for our Mining Engineering Technical Skills courses, and Best Video for the Introduction to Mining video series.


In 2024, our soft-skills courses earned two further nominations: AI in the Workplace for Best eLearning Project and Active Listening for Best eLearning & Talent Development.

Credly Certification

Learners completing our Mining Engineering Technical Skills (METS) courses will receive verified digital badges via Credly by Pearson. AMPS Academy offers 18 badges for course completion across various mining topics, including open pit and underground engineering and geology.

What is Credly?

Credly, a Pearson company, provides digital certifications to verify your acquired skills. Upon completing a METS course, you will earn a digital badge as proof of your accomplishment. These badges are stored in your personal skills wallet, enabling you to showcase your abilities on your professional profile.
